For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, |

| eige hkousate thn oikonomian thV caritoV tou qeou thV doqeishV moi eiV umaV
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: |
|
| oti kata apokaluyin egnwrisen moi to musthrion kaqwV proegraya en oligw
How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery ; I wrote afore in few words, |
|
| proV o dunasqe anaginwskonteV nohsai thn sunesin mou en tw musthriw tou cristou
Whereby , when ye read ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) |
|
| o en eteraiV geneaiV ouk egnwrisqh toiV uioiV twn anqrwpwn wV nun apekalufqh toiV agioiV apostoloiV autou kai profhtaiV en pneumati
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; |

| einai ta eqnh sugklhronoma kai susswma kai summetoca thV epaggeliaV autou en tw cristw dia tou euaggeliou
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: |
|
| ou egenomhn diakonoV kata thn dwrean thV caritoV tou qeou thn doqeisan moi kata thn energeian thV dunamewV autou
Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power. |

| emoi tw elacistoterw pantwn twn agiwn edoqh h cariV auth en toiV eqnesin euaggelisasqai ton anexicniaston plouton tou cristou
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; |

| kai fwtisai pantaV tiV h koinwnia tou musthriou tou apokekrummenou apo twn aiwnwn en tw qew tw ta panta ktisanti dia ihsou cristou
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: |

| ina gnwrisqh nun taiV arcaiV kai taiV exousiaiV en toiV epouranioiV dia thV ekklhsiaV h polupoikiloV sofia tou qeou
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God, |
|
| kata proqesin twn aiwnwn hn epoihsen en cristw ihsou tw kuriw hmwn
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord: |

| en w ecomen thn parrhsian kai thn prosagwghn en pepoiqhsei dia thV pistewV autou
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. |
|
| dio aitoumai mh ekkakein en taiV qliyesin mou uper umwn htiV estin doxa umwn
Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. |
|
| toutou carin kamptw ta gonata mou proV ton patera tou kuriou hmwn ihsou cristou
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, |
|
| ex ou pasa patria en ouranoiV kai epi ghV onomazetai
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named |
|
| ina dwh umin kata ton plouton thV doxhV autou dunamei krataiwqhnai dia tou pneumatoV autou eiV ton esw anqrwpon
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; |
|
| katoikhsai ton criston dia thV pistewV en taiV kardiaiV umwn
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, |
|
| en agaph errizwmenoi kai teqemeliwmenoi ina exiscushte katalabesqai sun pasin toiV agioiV ti to platoV kai mhkoV kai baqoV kai uyoV
May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; |
|
| gnwnai te thn uperballousan thV gnwsewV agaphn tou cristou ina plhrwqhte eiV pan to plhrwma tou qeou
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. |
|
| tw de dunamenw uper panta poihsai uper ek perissou wn aitoumeqa h nooumen kata thn dunamin thn energoumenhn en hmin
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think according to the power that worketh in us, |
|
| autw h doxa en th ekklhsia en cristw ihsou eiV pasaV taV geneaV tou aiwnoV twn aiwnwn amhn
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. |
