meta tauta efanerwsen eauton palin o ihsouV toiV maqhtaiV epi thV qalasshV thV tiberiadoV efanerwsen de outwV

After these things Jesus shewed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and on this wise shewed he himself.

hsan omou simwn petroV kai qwmaV o legomenoV didumoV kai naqanahl o apo kana thV galilaiaV kai oi tou zebedaiou kai alloi ek twn maqhtwn autou duo

There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

legei autoiV simwn petroV upagw alieuein legousin autw ercomeqa kai hmeiV sun soi exhlqon kai anebhsan eiV to ploion euquV kai en ekeinh th nukti epiasan ouden

Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

prwiaV de hdh genomenhV esth o ihsouV eiV ton aigialon ou mentoi hdeisan oi maqhtai oti ihsouV estin

But when the morning was now come Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat ? They answered him, No.

o de eipen autoiV balete eiV ta dexia merh tou ploiou to diktuon kai eurhsete ebalon oun kai ouk eti auto elkusai iscusan apo tou plhqouV twn icquwn

And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

legei oun o maqhthV ekeinoV on hgapa o ihsouV tw petrw o kurioV estin simwn oun petroV akousaV oti o kurioV estin ton ependuthn diezwsato hn gar gumnoV kai ebalen eauton eiV thn qalassan

Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved saith unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

oi de alloi maqhtai tw ploiariw hlqon ou gar hsan makran apo thV ghV all wV apo phcwn diakosiwn suronteV to diktuon twn icquwn

And the other disciples came in a little ship ; they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

wV oun apebhsan eiV thn ghn blepousin anqrakian keimenhn kai oyarion epikeimenon kai arton

As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon and bread.

legei autoiV o ihsouV enegkate apo twn oyariwn wn epiasate nun

Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught

anebh simwn petroV kai eilkusen to diktuon epi thV ghV meston icquwn megalwn ekaton penthkontatriwn kai tosoutwn ontwn ouk escisqh to diktuon

Simon Peter went up and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken

legei autoiV o ihsouV deute aristhsate oudeiV de etolma twn maqhtwn exetasai auton su tiV ei eidoteV oti o kurioV estin

Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou ? knowing that it was the Lord.

ercetai oun o ihsouV kai lambanei ton arton kai didwsin autoiV kai to oyarion omoiwV

Jesus then cometh and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.

touto hdh triton efanerwqh o ihsouV toiV maqhtaiV autou egerqeiV ek nekrwn

This is now the third time that Jesus shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

ote oun hristhsan legei tw simwni petrw o ihsouV simwn iwna agapaV me pleion toutwn legei autw nai kurie su oidaV oti filw se legei autw boske ta arnia mou

So when they had dined Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these ? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.

legei autw palin deuteron simwn iwna agapaV me legei autw nai kurie su oidaV oti filw se legei autw poimaine ta probata mou

He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me ? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

legei autw to triton simwn iwna fileiV me eluphqh o petroV oti eipen autw to triton fileiV me kai eipen autw kurie su panta oidaV su ginwskeiV oti filw se legei autw o ihsouV boske ta probata mou

He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me ? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me ? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.

amhn amhn legw soi ote hV newteroV ezwnnueV seauton kai periepateiV opou hqeleV otan de ghrashV ekteneiV taV ceiraV sou kai alloV se zwsei kai oisei opou ou qeleiV

Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdedst thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest but when thou shalt be old thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

touto de eipen shmainwn poiw qanatw doxasei ton qeon kai touto eipwn legei autw akolouqei moi

This spake he signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

epistrafeiV de o petroV blepei ton maqhthn on hgapa o ihsouV akolouqounta oV kai anepesen en tw deipnw epi to sthqoV autou kai eipen kurie tiV estin o paradidouV se

Then Peter, turning about seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee ?

touton idwn o petroV legei tw ihsou kurie outoV de ti

Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

legei autw o ihsouV ean auton qelw menein ewV ercomai ti proV se su akolouqei moi

Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come what is that to thee ? follow thou me.

exhlqen oun o logoV outoV eiV touV adelfouV oti o maqhthV ekeinoV ouk apoqnhskei kai ouk eipen autw o ihsouV oti ouk apoqnhskei all ean auton qelw menein ewV ercomai ti proV se

Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die yet Jesus said not unto him , He shall not die but, If I will that he tarry till I come what is that to thee ?

outoV estin o maqhthV o marturwn peri toutwn kai grayaV tauta kai oidamen oti alhqhV estin h marturia autou

This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

estin de kai alla polla osa epoihsen o ihsouV atina ean grafhtai kaq en oude auton oimai ton kosmon cwrhsai ta grafomena biblia amhn

And there are also many other things which Jesus did the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written Amen.
