Chapter 126

A Song of degrees.
When the LORD turned again2 the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.6

Then was our mouth filled11 with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said4 they among the heathen, The LORD hath done2 great things52 for them.

The LORD hath done2 great things52 for us; [whereof] we are glad.

Turn again3 our captivity, 7622 O LORD, as the streams in the south.

They that sow6 in tears shall reap4 in joy.

He that goeth4 forth2 and weepeth,2 bearing6 precious seed, shall doubtless2 come4 again with rejoicing, bringing6 his sheaves [with him].
