Chapter 110

A Psalm of David.
The LORD said7 unto my Lord, Sit3 thou at my right hand, until I make4 thine enemies6 thy footstool. 7272

The LORD shall send4 the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule3 thou in the midst of thine enemies.6

Thy people [shall be] willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

The LORD hath sworn,8 and will not repent,11 Thou [art] a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike1 through kings in the day of his wrath.

He shall judge4 among the heathen, he shall fill1 [the places] with the dead bodies; he shall wound1 the heads over many countries.

He shall drink4 of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up55 the head.
